Metro today admitted it has no idea of its proposed real estate acquisition costs for its proposed Century City subway station. Its captive blog, LA.Streets Blog, disputed The Courier 's exclusive report that JMB Realty will receive $38.7 million for a tiny portion of JMB's property at the corner of Constellation Boulevard and Avenue of the Stars.

The Beverly Hills City Council decided tonight to raise the City water rates by 7 percent in FY 2012/2013 and an additional 7 percent in FY 2013/2014. Vice Mayor John Mirisch voted against this rate increase. Sometimes you have to make a decision, Councilwoman Lili Bosse said. Right now it might hurt a little bit but its the best decision for the future.
