City Council Raises Water Rates Raised By 7 Percent

The Beverly Hills City Council decided tonight to raise the City water rates by 7 percent in FY 2012/2013 and an additional 7 percent in FY 2013/2014. Vice Mayor John Mirisch voted against this rate increase. Sometimes you have to make a decision, Councilwoman Lili Bosse said. Right now it might hurt a little bit but its the best decision for the future.
